-No Biggy : Chapter 4 : Better Than You-
The ball was kicked to me and I trapped it, then brought it over to the right goalie box corner. The defenders backed up and as did the midfielders and the forwards. The problem was that, they didn't back up far enough, but I saw my friends were the ones who had backed up the most and I smiled at their compassion.
I backed up from the ball, glancing back and forth from the ball and the area where I wanted it to land. Then the ref nodded to me again and I took of couple of steps before planting my foot and booting it. I looked up and saw that baby soar in the sky before it came down in the area where David and Kevin were. While the ball was in the air the stands had quieted and when Kevin used his chest to cushion the fall of the ball, it fell to the ground and he quickly started dribbling towards the goal.I took a few steps forward as I saw Kevin advanced towards the goal and then kick it with all his might.
The ball flew... and flew...
... and flew...
... and went right into the net.
I shot my arms into the air cheering, “Yes! Yes!” The crowd went while as people started clapping, cheering and stomping. Kevin gave high five to his teammates and then he looked at me and pointed. His way of saying 'That was all you', I gave him a peace sign and then we went back to our positions.
For the rest of the 3rd and 4th quarter I played (in my opinion) like an all star. I defended the goal like it was my life. I took kick after kick, shove after shove, and in the end I was victorious over control of the ball. I didn't say a word to anyone during the game, I was thinking that if I opened my mouth they'd make some type of rude comment. So I just shut up and defended.
I was happy and relieved when we had won the game 7-6. The stands cheering and clapped profusely as we left the field and walked over to coach. I only took off the blue shirt and tossed it to David and told him to hand it back to coach. I sat at the end of the bench and took my soccer bag from under me. I sat there for a while just looking at the sky while coach congratulated the team on their excellent performance and how they pulled through in the end.
I didn't pay any attention to it. Why should I anyway? It's not like he was considering me to be part of the team, I was just some stupid stand sub-in. I stood up and figured I needed a slushie or something, just as a congratulations to myself. From behind me the guys in the stands were walking out, some of them congratulated me and patted me on the shoulder, or the back. I just smiled at them and thanked them and continued walking away with my bag on my shoulder.

-Why Don't You Kiss Her? : Chapter 1 : Fireworks-
The boy smiled softly to himself and proceeded up the stairway that leaded to the rooftop.
It wasn't long before he reached the roof and when he opened the door he immediately saw a figure leaning on the railing and staring up at the sky. The person must've heard the door open because they turned around slightly to face him.
“... wow..” his voice came out in a quiet whisper as he stared at the person who he knew as Dmitri.
She wasn't wearing what the other girls would typically wear, in fact it didn't resemble anything close to it. She as wearing a white button-down shirt, a loose blue tie, black pants with a matching jacket, and her regular everyday shoes. She... was dressed like a guy, yes. But she looked great in it.
Her hair lightly covered her eyes and the ends just brushed her shoulders, in this kind of light, her silver hair held a gleam of teal, making it even more appealing. Her golden eyes looked at him curiously, but they were a darker shade when in the night.
“Hey... Dmitri,” he said uncomfortably.
“Vance...” she said his name as a question, but soon smiled, “hey yourself.” She turned back around and leaned on the railing once more, Vance went to her side to join her, they both looked at the sky.
“It's amazing... how many beautiful things are on this world...” Dmitri smiled, her eyes darting from one star to the next.
Vance nodded as he looked at her in a caring manner, “Yeah...”
He continued to stare at the stars with her, not really paying much interest to the stars, but more to the fact that he welcomed Dmitri's comforting presence, he felt a lot better whenever she was around. Below them they could faintly hear the music, Vance could barely make out the song that was currently playing, but he knew it all too well. Dmitri really didn't notice, as usual she payed more attention the the things that were more important to her. Vance glanced every once and a while at his friend while the song began to play below them.

-Give Her One Summer : Chapter 1 : Change-
The first days of school aren't really to get to know the school, or get acquainted with your teachers, your new classes, and your schedules. They're actually just to see old friends, well that's what I think anyway. I never paid much attention to what was happening the first days of school, for me they were just to see how everyone's summer went and what was going on with who.
Plus, it gives you a chance to see who's changed or not.
I walked to school with two guys you I've known since kindergarten, Mark and Jack. We played football, hockey, and lacrosse together. You can say we're like the three amigos.
“So how'd things go with you and Jodi over the summer Mark?” Jack asked as we neared the school.
I adjusted the strap on my backpack as Mark answered.
“Jodi left me for some dude on the B-ball team,” he shrugged, “didn't really bother me.”
“What about you Brady?”
I shrugged. “Single and still kickin'.”
Jack shook his head at me. “Dude, you aren't going to become a 60-year-old virgin, are you?”
I let out a laugh and shook my head. “Nah, I'm probably going to lose it the summer 'fore I go to college.”
Mark laughed at me. “You're planning? What guy plans when to lose his V-card? That's just gay.”
We stepped onto the grounds of the school and saw that there were a fair amount of people already there, a few were going into the school already.
“Oh hey, looks like Gerad and Julia broke up over the summer.” I looked over at the two and noticed that there was a fair amount of space between them.
“You know what I love about new school years? Fresh meat.”
“Oh and you can't forget the hot new girls,” Jack added.
“Speaking of new girls, here comes one now.” I nodded to a girl who was walking with a backpack slung over her right shoulder. She had black hair with maroon streaks in it, I was pretty sure she was wearing purple contacts, jeans and a red polo.
“Hey, that's not a new girl,” Mark narrowed his eyes at her, “she looks familiar.”
Jack looked at her too. “Hey, wasn't she that fat girl who was in our art?”
The more I watched her the more it came to me. To tell the truth, before she wasn't that fat, a little chubby, but not extremely overweight. She was kind of short too. I remember her being in my Art, English and Gym. She was pretty good at all three, if I remember right.
“What was her name again?”
“Tammy? No...”
“Tara? No.”
“Tori,” I said as I looked at her, “her name was Tori.”
Tori had sure changed over the summer...
